Collabera is looking for Mainframe DB2 DBA candidates with 3 + yrs experience for their Bangalore Office.

Job Requirements:

• Provide Installation, administration and maintenance support primarily for DB2 Z/OS Database systems and related products in a fast paced production environment.
• Responsibilities include ongoing system administration, configuring, managing, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience required in scripting languages like shell/perl/java/php is highly desirable.
• 3 yrs. Of DB2 DBA experience
• Experience in creating and maintaining database systems. Experience must include establishing and maintaining recoverability, performance and capacity planning facets of the database systems.
• Proven ability to evaluate client specifications, design all databases necessary to complete client requests and provide technical guidance to other members of a project team.
• Successful work performance demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, use productive work methods, exercise sound judgment and display initiative and innovation on the job.
• Resource will ensure 24×7 levels 2 support in Shifts.
