Collabera is looking for Network Engineer for their client in Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Provide provisioning support and circuit design within the Provisioning team.
• Duties to include circuit design, recommendations, order and provisioning circuits.
• Must have a solid knowledge of local aggregation network facilities, as well as a strong understanding of voice technologies.
• Must have the ability to effectively manage a large queue of customer-driven telecom orders in support of these activities.
• Services ordered include frame, data point-to-point to include Ethernet, channelized, Voice LD (PRI), and voice LEC services including voip/rfc/pots lines from various carriers depending on regional and/or geographic location.
• In addition, milestone tracking of the orders including weekly meetings with carriers to drive toward required project dates.
• Position requires the ability to escalate and a willingness to raise awareness to management levels for problem resolution and project deadline concerns.
• Daily interaction with internal project teams to provide status, coordinate dates and make recommendations on timeframes.
• Must have a strong provisioning background and an ability to recommend alternate solutions to design problems, local access issues, or carrier exchange issues.
• Must have ability to troubleshoot issues and work with carriers as needed to test rcf lines or coordinate support for data circuit testing.
• Performs all technical program tasks with minimal supervision.
• Will need to have a strong ability to document and ensure voice and data inventories are accurate.

Required Skills:
• Bachelor degree in Telecommunications or equivalent preferred.
• 3 – 5 years of extensive circuit design or provisioning within a large enterprise environment, preferably a Telecom IXC environment
• Strong knowledge of MPLS, Private Line, and SONET technologies.
• In-depth understanding of voice technologies, including VOIP, RCF, and pots lines.
• Mastery of circuit hierarchies and physical circuit design.
• Strong knowledge of carrier provisioning processes including IXC design, ASR, FOC.
• Familiarity with Cisco Optical Gear (Cisco 15454, Fujitsu Mux, Carrier Access Corp Mux).
• Ability to follow documented steps and processes.
• Ability to escalate through appropriate guidelines and procedures.
• Proficient Microsoft Excel and Visio skills.
• Time management, organizational skills, and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of IXC Carriers and Incumbent Local Exchange Carriers and their geographic locations.
• Ability to handle large volumes of orders (1,000 a month)
• Test and turn up of circuits nights and weekends (US time), overtime required
• Must be able to communicate to lines of business for site access and status
• Strong vendor management skills required
• CCNP or CCDP Certification along with PMI equivalent certification or experience.
• Excellent verbal and written skills
